Jürgen Habermas, a Marxist, explaining Revolution, i.e., the children questioning, challenging, disregarding, and/or defying parental authority, striking out at the parents and their authority without having a guilty conscience, being 'justified' in themselves.

"It is those [the parents] who establish such domination and defend positions of power of this sort [the father's/Father's "top-down" authority system] who set in motion the causality of fate, divide society into social classes ["above-below"], suppress justified interests [the children's "self interests" of the 'moment'], call forth the reactions of suppressed life [hatred toward restraint, i.e., toward the parents and their authority], and finally experience their just fate in revolution [with the children establishing themselves , i.e., their "self interests" over and therefore against parental authority, 'creating' a "new" world order]." (Jürgen Habermas, Knowledge & Human Interest, 1968, publ. Polity Press, 1987. Chapter Three: The Idea of the Theory of Knowledge as Social Theory) Habermas was a Transformational Marxist associated with the Frankfurt School—a group of Marxists who, having merged Marx with Freud in Germany (creating group psychotherapy) came to America in the early 30's (when Hitler became Chancellor), continuing their work here in our Universities and government.  Their work has transformed American into a Marxist culture, subject to the praxis of dialectic 'reasoning,' i.e., theory and practice.

This is not anything the Lord God has not told us will happen when we reject Him and His commands. "And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable." "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:4-5, 12 "... and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death." Mark 13:12
