"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called [the antithesis of so-named gnosis (knowledge) και αντιθεσεις της ψευδωνυμου γνωσεως]: which some professing have erred concerning the faith. When you use the scientific method on people (on values and beliefs), all you end up with are the opinions (theories) of men. If you then reapply that method back to science you end up treating men's opinions (theories) as thought they are facts. People die, i.e. in more ways than one.

Hegel wrote: "Then it is that Mind takes refuge in the clear space of thought to create for itself a kingdom of thought in opposition to the world of actuality, and Philosophy [men's opinions on how the world "ought" to be] is the reconciliation following upon the destruction of that real world which thought has begun." (Hegel's Lectures on the History of Philosophy Introduction B. Relation of Philosophy to Other Departments of Knowledge) "Kuhn [known for his "Paradigm 'shift'" idea] admitted problems with the schemata of his socio-psychological theory yet continued to urge its application into the scientific fields of astronomy, physics, chemistry and biology." (Thomas Kuhn, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions)

Any engineer, or lover of truth, knows the frustration which comes from having to participate in an environment which promotes 'change,' i.e. which applies the "so called scientific process" to the real world. Brainwashing is washing from the brain the belief that two plus two can only equal four, i.e. that it can not equal any other number, i.e. the reason P.O.W. Major David F. MacGhee wrote on the wall of the blockhouse the North Korean's interned him in between his brainwashing (consensus, i.e. "group hug") sessions: "Black is black and white is white. Neither torture, maltreatment nor intimidation can change a fact. To argue the point serves no useful purpose," unless someone wants to brainwash you, i.e. convince you that heaven is hell and hell is heaven: "By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise." (Hitler)

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
